Andrew Ruhren's Biography
I am an artist/professor who worked in the NYC area for 15 years before I moved my family to Japan and bought a small English school. This is my first book of illustrated word puzzles which evolved from my teaching experiences there. Although these drawings began as a fun way to engage my young students with vocabulary, they have expanded to include challenges for everyone, even the most advanced puzzle lover. Each detail-packed drawing is overflowing with my love for traveling, history, science, art, music, and food.
I am currently working on several books, one is a children's version of Alphaquest and another is illustrated word puzzles based on English word lists of homophones, homonyms, anagrams, loan words from other languages, and more.
