My Blog

Can't explain how these were left out but here they are for your enjoyment. Better late than never!

I can't believe how many words didn't get into these drawings in Amazing A-Z AlphaQuest. Sometimes I guess that I got so into the drawing I wouldn't refer back to the word lists as much and I forgot to put certain ones in.

Ever since I was a kid I've had a great love of animation, and I don't mean just Saturday morning cartoons. There was a half hour show on Sunday nights around 1970 that showed the best of experimental animation from around the world. It was my favorite! This project got me learning new programns and got me animating again. This is one of the early promo pieces I did for Amazing A-Z AlphaQuest.

Here is the first image from my new book project and let me explain. It's taken me quite a while to wrap my head around all of the different pieces I wanted to bring together in this series, but I've come up with this structure to hang my ideas. The first 10 drawings follow a group of characters on a quest through an animal filled world cluttered with Easter eggs from a mash up of The Hobbit, LOTR, Harry Potter, and others. Each drawing is also a time capsule from a particula

26 drawings, each lovingly designed around a letter of the alphabet. Search and find as many as you can and keep track on the complete word lists. Expand your vocabulary and excercise your brain or just relax and color the images.

Here is my proposed cover for the AlphaQuest book I have completed for younger readers. It's the same idea as Amazing A-Z AlphaQuest but with a simpler and shorter word list.

Here is my proposal for the cover to my second book. The 20 drawings are based on lists of compound words, anagrams, homophones, contronyms, foreign loan words, and more.

Thanks for all of the support around the world!
