Over the 12 years of teaching English to kids I've tried many different ways to engage them and reinforce their vocabulary. One way was to use I-Spy books with their playfully cluttered pictures to work on the student's recall of words. This was fun and rewarding and lead me to my first drawing in this vein. It is based on E words as that was what I was working on with that student at that time. It was a light-bulb moment and felt logical and natural for me to explore the potential in this idea.
