The newest book is on it's way!

Here is the first image from my new book project and let me explain. It's taken me quite a while to wrap my head around all of the different pieces I wanted to bring together in this series, but I've come up with this structure to hang my ideas. The first 10 drawings follow a group of characters on a quest through an animal filled world cluttered with Easter eggs from a mash up of The Hobbit, LOTR, Harry Potter, and others. Each drawing is also a time capsule from a particular year, this one being 1960, so it also contains hints of movies, TV shows, sports, toys, foods, fashions, and historical events from that year. This story in 10 pictures is called The Hobby - Back to There Again, and it focuses on music. The second drawing will include things from 1961 and so on. Every time I try to explain or put it down in words I suspect I may sound crazy, but it makes sense in my head.
